WebCassidy was originally a member of the Deadlock Gang. In an Overwatch sting operation at Route 66, Cassidy was captured alongside several other gang members. Overwatch was impressed with his skills and gave him the option of becoming a member of Blackwatch rather than going to prison. WebReyes recognizes his potential in his naturally great aim, and not wanting a kid to rot in jail for the rest of his life, offers him a choice between maximum security prison and fighting by his side in Blackwatch. Cassidy chooses the latter. Reyes is known to be extremely fond of Cassidy, becoming a sort of found father figure to him.
