WebMindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), which combines the main principles of CBT with mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) techniques, appears efficacious as a treatment for relapse prevention for those with recurrent depression, particularly those with more pro- nounced residual symptoms (Kuyken et al., 2016). WebMBCT’s effects were mediated by enhancement of mindfulness and self-compassion across treatment. MBCT also changed the nature of the relationship between post-treatment cognitive reactivity and outcome.
